Old stuff, but you can look at it anyway

Hi, in this blog post I am going to write about seeing Santa at Xscape in Braehead. On our way there I was wondering what we were going to do. When we arrived I saw my mum reading a letter and so I thought I’d be a little nosy and see what the letter was about,as I drew closer I reilezed that the letter was for my dad and that Xscape had invited us to go and do some fun family things, to have lunch, see Santa, decorate baubles and cards and then to go to soft play at Gambado.I thought this  was going to be great.

When we got inside we started our day at the bit where we could decorate a bauble or card. I decided to do a bauble. First I took a blue pen and wrote Merry Christmas, then a pink, green, red, black and orange pen. The pink was for the face, the green was for eyes, the red for the mouth, orange for the nose and black (which was supposed to be brown) for the hair. After that I kept the green and the red but put the rest back and then drew holly, then turned the bouble round so I could do the other side and did the same only with the face this time I did blonde hair and at the side I neatly wrote “Abs and Mummy”.This was fun because I had lots of fun making it and I have a selection of trees to put my bauble on.

Next we went to a restaurant called Bar Varia and everyone ordered a meal but the drinks and food took forever and I had to leave half of my lunch behind to see Santa. I still can’t believe that we were actually walking in snow I felt like I was in the North Pole going to Santa’s workshop. This was not so great because I was very hungry after I had to leave some of it but walking in the snow for a change was fantastic.

There was a HUGE queue for Santa so I decided to draw pictures. Finally it was time to go in, on our way my little brother Adam kept falling on his bottom and getting all snowy. Then it was our turn to into Santa’s workshop. My little brother Sam said (well my mum did because Sam can’t talk yet) that he wanted something to do with Peppa Pig and I asked for a pink watch and my little brother Adam asked for a Buzz Lightyear toy. After that Santa gave each of us a present, I got a penguin, Adam got a polar bear and Sam got a Rudolf.I enjoyed visiting santa because A.I got to tell Santa what I wanted for christmas. B. I got to get my picture taken.

When we were going an elf asked if I wanted to have a slege ride and I said yes but when I asked if Adam could come mum and dad said no so I had go to myself. There’s a video of it here. I really liked this as I had been sledging before with dad – on real snow and at Xscape and I hope we can do it again soon.

We ended our day with a little play at Gambado. I went on the climbing wall and the go karts. Adam got lost a few times but we always found him in the end.I had a snack and then we went home. I had good fun here and would go back.

Thank you to SMARTS PR and Braehead for the day out.
